anxiety

Image
Standing by the  Seashore of unsettled ripples.  Rocks all around.  One in the pit of my stomach,  The others -- surround.  Breathing by the Pour of unsettled leaves.  Uncertainty all around.  One that slits open my chest,  The worries -- abound.  Living by the Door of unsettled world. Life all around.  One that slips by my eyes,  The numbness -- crowned.

embracing chaos

Image
When I come back to my senses And witness the silence,  Sunlight through shutters and fences Sinking into the little violence Of vitality and voices,  Piled up like the past.  Oh, at last!  I will take a day off.  When I look through my lenses And witness the stillness,  The quiet enhances The sinking stiffness Of the soaring and roaring dances Staged up on my heart.  Oh, the art!  I will embrace chaos.

a well in time eve

Image
Wandering wind in search of leaves,  This Valentine's eve.  A soft touch, they fall.  'Lovers' as they call.  Wondering I  Start to believe.  This well in time eve,  I may fall with the breeze  And maybe fall with ease.  Flattering myself,  I must leave.  This frozen time eve Will melt the sun in a few.  I witness in solitude.

it haunts so gently

Image
The stairs creak, the hallways cry The life once spent on them.  A full circle that Ends with another person and You will mistake it for life.  The explosion of sounds as you sit quiet The movie these walls have seen.  A curtain that Never falls and  You will mistake it for quiet.  Maybe a picture hiding by the books, on The evening sunlit bookshelf.  A firm feeling that  Holds you every evening and  You will mistake it for care.  Half sewn sweaters that hide  The half life that still dwells here. A cozy corner that  Will make you feel warm and You will mistake it for summer.  "I can live here", a voice said.  All my life? Maybe yes A house so haunting that  It haunts so gently and  You will mistake it for love.

my tired old mare

Image
A noon falls in your hair,  My tired old mare!  You talk like falling blossoms.  I must sit and gaze Your spotless face,  And your spotted fate.  A night falls as I stare,  My precious prayer!  You're sleep like talking trees.

morn mourns everyday

Image
Morn mourns everyday,  The noon, a shady light.  I wish I was close For the last time.  The room smells of you,  Dear cold stone.  Sleep like a wren,  Far from home.  Did I hide too much?  My lonely plover.  Sing the song you love,  When it's over.  I'll be quiet for you,  My quiet little stone.  Sleep tide till time dies,  Feel at home.
